# Submit tool execution result

`POST /api/tool/result`

## Request

Submits the result of a tool call execution from the frontend

## Request body

- ToolResultDto
  - `streamId` string, required: Stream ID for the chat session
  - `toolCallId` string, required: Tool call ID to submit result for
  - `result` object: Tool execution result (required if error is not provided)
  - `error` string: Error message if tool execution failed (required if result is not provided)

## Response `200`

Tool result received successfully

- ToolResultResponseDto
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the tool result was processed successfully
  - `message` string: Response message

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request data
- `404`: Tool call not found or expired
