# List births that occurred a specified number of years ago

`GET /records/yearsago.json`

## Request

Returns a list of birth records for people born exactly the specified number of years ago from today. Note: version 1.1 uses `archive_code` instead of `archive` and includes the archive name and record URL.

## Query parameters

- `years` integer, required
- `number_show` integer
- `callback` string

## Response `200`

Array of birth records from people born the specified years ago

- YearsAgoRecord[]
  - `archive_code` string: Short archive code.
  - `archive` string: Full archive name.
  - `identifier` string, uuid: Record UUID.
  - `name` string: Name of the person.
  - `place` string: Place of birth.
  - `scan` 0 | 1: Indicates whether a scan is available (1=yes, 0=no).
  - `url` string, uri: URL of the record on Open Archives.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid parameters
- `429`: Too Many Requests — rate limit of 4 requests per second per IP exceeded.
