# Look up an article by web address

`GET /lookup-article`

## Request

- Auth: none required

Whether an article can be licensed on Opedd, with its publisher's name (`publisher`, a string), prices and article details. `human_price` is the per-article republication price. Public.

## Query parameters

- `url` string, uri, required

## Response `200`

The article can be licensed: title, publisher, prices and article details.

## Other responses

- `404`: Article not found — either not registered in Opedd or licensing is disabled
- `500`: Temporary lookup failure; retry. (A 404 means the article isn't on Opedd.)
