# Move a whole parcel to one status

`POST /stations/quick-update`

## Request

Every order under one tracking number moves to the status you name. A row whose current status cannot legally reach it is REPORTED in `meta.skipped` rather than failing the call: a mixed parcel is normal, and the worker holding the box needs the rest to move.

Three statuses notify the seller, so an accidental replay would notify twice. `Idempotency-Key` is REQUIRED.

  - `tracking_number` string, required: The parcel's tracking number, at least 10 characters.
  - `status` string, required: The status every order in the parcel should reach.
  - `note` string: Anything the floor should record with the move.
  - `occurred_at` string: When it happened on the floor, if that is not now. ISO-8601; see the scan endpoint for the limits.

## Response `200`

The parcel after the move. `meta.updated` counts the rows that moved; `meta.skipped` names the ones that could not, each with its reason.

## Other responses

- `401`: No key, or a key that is unknown, revoked or expired. One message for all four — telling you which would confirm to a guesser that a key exists.
- `403`: The key is valid but its owner may not do this.
- `404`: No such record — including records that exist but belong to someone else. The API never confirms another seller's ids.
- `409`: The request contradicts the current state of the record.
- `422`: The body or query is malformed. Field-level detail arrives in `error.fields`.
- `429`: Over the per-key limit. `Retry-After` says how many seconds to wait.
- `500`: Our fault. `error.request_id` matches the X-Request-Id header — quote it to support.
