# Create a new project from a template

`POST /templates/{id}/instantiate`

## Path parameters

  - `name` string: Override the template name.
  - `startDate` string, date

## Response `200`

Returns the new Project

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Unauthorized - missing or invalid JWT
- `402`: Plan gate - feature not available on current plan
- `403`: Forbidden - insufficient role
- `404`: Template not found
