# Turn automatic scheduling on or off for a project

`PUT /scheduling/projects/{id}/auto-schedule`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Off: editing a date or adding a link moves no other task, and only Recalculate writes scheduler dates. Nothing moves when it is turned off. Turning it on reschedules the whole project at once, as Recalculate does. Setting the current value is a no-op. Needs the same access as Recalculate: the org admin tier, the project owner, or a project OWNER or MANAGER.
