# Resend the confirmation code

`POST /v1/confirmations/{id}/resend`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox.onlink.africa`
- URL: `https://sandbox.onlink.africa/v1/confirmations/{id}/resend`
- Auth: API key in header `X-OnLink-Key`

Re-issues the code on the shared escalating resend ladder. Refused while the previous code is still within its cooldown window. The new code goes wherever your account delivers codes NOW, which may differ from where the first code went if OnLink changed the setting since. The response carries webhookDelivery only when the new code was pushed to your webhook.

  - `confirmationId` string, required: The confirmation id.
  - `expiresAt` string, date-time, required: ISO-8601 instant the new code expires.
  - `resendAvailableAt` string, date-time, required: ISO-8601 instant a further resend becomes available.
  - `webhookDelivery` ConfirmationWebhookDeliveryDto
    - `status` 'pending' | 'delivered' | 'failed', required: `pending` while we are still trying, `delivered` once your endpoint acknowledged the push, `failed` once every attempt has failed.
    - `attempts` integer, required: How many push attempts have been made so far.
    - `lastAttemptAt` string, date-time, nullable, required: ISO-8601 instant of the most recent push attempt, or null before the first.

## Other responses

- `403`: CONFIRMATION_LOCKED.
- `404`: CONFIRMATION_NOT_FOUND.
- `409`: CONFIRMATION_ALREADY_VERIFIED, CONFIRMATION_EXPIRED, or CONFIRMATION_CANCELLED.
- `429`: CONFIRMATION_RESEND_TOO_SOON.
- `503`: CONFIRMATION_CONTACT_MISSING or CONFIRMATION_DELIVERY_UNAVAILABLE. Nothing was re-issued.
