# Update Engagement Status

`PUT /api/vendor/v1/engagements/{engagementId}/status`

## Request

  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://{hostname}/api/access/v1/oauth/token` scopes: `GENERIC`, `VRM`

Use this API to update the status of an existing engagement.

## Path parameters

- `engagementId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ExternalEngagementStatusUpdateRequest
  - `status` 'ACTIVE' | 'PENDING' | 'ARCHIVED', required: The new status for the engagement.

## Response `200`

OK

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
