# Create Multiple Vulnerabilities

`POST /api/controls/v2/vulnerabilities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hostname`
- URL: `https://hostname/api/controls/v2/vulnerabilities`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://{hostname}/api/access/v1/oauth/token` scopes: `ITRM`

Use this API to create multiple new vulnerabilities in the Vulnerability Library.

## Request body

- TechRiskComplianceITRiskManagementVulnerabilityCreateRequestDto[]: Post request containing a list of vulnerabilities to be added to the vulnerabilities library.
  - `orgGroupId` string, uuid, required: Organization group identifier that this vulnerability belongs to.
  - `identifier` string, required: Unique business identifier for the vulnerability - must be unique within the organization.
  - `name` string, required: Name of the vulnerability.
  - `description` string: Detailed description of the vulnerability.
  - `framework` TechRiskComplianceITRiskManagementFrameworkInformation
    - `id` string, uuid: Primary Identifier.
    - `name` string: Framework Name of Control.
    - `nameKey` string: Framework Name key for Translation.
  - `category` TechRiskComplianceITRiskManagementCategoryInformation
    - `id` string, uuid: Category unique identifier
    - `name` string: Category name
    - `nameKey` string: Category nameKey for localization support
  - `status` 'Active' | 'Pending' | 'Archived': Current status of the vulnerability.
  - `attributes` object: Custom attributes associated with this vulnerability, organized as a map of attribute names to their values.

## Response `201`

Created

Returns a list of added vulnerability identifiers (guid).

  - `id` string[], required: Primary identifier of the created or updated entity, typically a UUID

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
