# Get Deletion Certificate

`GET /api/datasubject/v2/requestqueues/delete-certificate/{requestRefId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hostname`
- URL: `https://hostname/api/datasubject/v2/requestqueues/delete-certificate/{requestRefId}`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://{hostname}/api/access/v1/oauth/token` scopes: `DSAR`, `DSAR_READ`, `DSAR_WRITE`

Use this API to retrieve a deletion certificate for a deleted request. The response will serve as the deletion certification and will include details such as the retention policy (if applicable), deletion date and time, and deletion mode.

>
> - Certificate data is available only for requests deleted within the past 360 days.

## Path parameters

- `requestRefId` string, required: Deleted Request Reference ID (10-character ID that is unique to each request)

## Response `200`

OK

- PrivacyAutomationDataSubjectRequestDSRAutomationDeletionCertificateV2DTO[]
  - `requestId` string, uuid: The request GUID
  - `requestRefId` string: Reference ID of the request. This is a 10-character ID that is unique to each request.
  - `retentionPolicy` string: The name of the retention policy that deleted the request. Null if deletion mode is not RETENTION_POLICY. If the policy is deleted, this will show the policy ID.
  - `deletionDate` string, date-time: Timestamp when the request was deleted.
  - `deletionMode` 'MANUAL' | 'API' | 'RETENTION_POLICY': Mode of deletion
  - `userId` string, uuid: The ID of the user who manually deleted the request. This is null if the deletion was not manual.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
