# Unset Inventory as Parent

`PUT /api/inventory/v2/inventories/{inventoryId}/unset-as-parent`

Use this API to unset an existing inventory from being a Parent inventory.

## Path parameters

- `inventoryId` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `inventoryType` 'processing-activities' | 'vendors' | 'assets' | 'entities', required
