# Create Assessment Task

`POST /api/assessment/v2/assessments/{assessmentId}/tasks`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hostname`
- URL: `https://hostname/api/assessment/v2/assessments/{assessmentId}/tasks`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://{hostname}/api/access/v1/oauth/token` scopes: `ASSESSMENT`

Use this API to create new tasks on an assessment. Only a single task can be created on an assessment per API call.

 > - Tasks cannot be created for the following assessment types:

 > - Global Readiness Assessment
 >
 > - Readiness Assessment
 >
 > - Program Benchmarking
 >
 > - Dynamic Incident Notification Assessment

## Path parameters

- `assessmentId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- PrivacyAutomationAssessmentAutomationTaskCreateRequest
  - `taskName` string, required: Name of the task
  - `description` string: Description of the task
  - `assigneeId` string, uuid: The UUID of the user assigned to the task
  - `deadline` string, date: The date by which the task must be completed
  - `collaborators` PrivacyAutomationAssessmentAutomationTaskCollaboratorDto[]
    - `collaboratorId` string, uuid: Unique identifier of the collaborator
    - `collaboratorEmail` string: Email address of the collaborator
    - `type` 'USER' | 'GROUP', required: Type of assignee (User or Group)

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
