# Complete Assessment

`POST /api/assessment/v1/assessments/{assessmentId}/review`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hostname`
- URL: `https://hostname/api/assessment/v1/assessments/{assessmentId}/review`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://{hostname}/api/access/v1/oauth/token` scopes: `ASSESSMENT`

Use this API to complete review of an assessment using any active result option. This action will move the assessment to the **Completed** stage.

> 🗒 Things to Know
> 
> - The assessment must first be submitted for review before using this API. This can be done using the [Submit Assessment API](https://developer.onetrust.com/onetrust/reference/submitassessmentusingpost).
> - Only active assessment result options can be used to complete assessments.

## Path parameters

- `assessmentId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- PrivacyAutomationAssessmentAutomationClosureRequest
  - `forceOverride` boolean: Flag to force override any validation errors during closure
  - `excludeRules` boolean: Flag to exclude rule execution during closure
  - `closureComment` string: Comment to include with the assessment closure
  - `resultId` string, uuid: Identifier of the result option to apply to the assessment
  - `attestationRequired` boolean: Flag indicating whether attestation is required for closure

## Response `204`

No Content

- `403`: Forbidden
