# Get Download Token

`GET /api/document/v4/attachments/token/{attachmentId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hostname`
- URL: `https://hostname/api/document/v4/attachments/token/{attachmentId}`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://{hostname}/api/access/v1/oauth/token` scopes: `ATTACHMENT`, `ATTACHMENT_READ`

Use this API to obtain a short-lived download token for an attachment. The token must be presented to the document-gateway to download the file content.

## Path parameters

- `attachmentId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Download token generated successfully

- PlatformDocumentsTokenResponse
  - `attachmentId` string, uuid
  - `token` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
