# Delete Cookies

`DELETE /api/cmp/v1/webscans/cookies`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hostname`

Use this API to delete cookies by the specified cookie ID or filter criteria.

## Request body

- BulkCookieDeletionRequest
  - `cookieIds` string[], required: The list of cookie identifiers.
  - `filters` CookieFilters, required
    - `status` string[]: The current state or condition of the item.
    - `source` string[]: The source from which the data or cookie originated.
    - `lifespan` string[]: The duration for which the cookie remains active before expiring.
    - `categories` string[]: The cookie categories assigned to the item.
    - `domainCategoryOverrides` string[]: The custom category assignments that override the default settings.
    - `domains` string[]: The list of website domains.
  - `language` string: The language code for localized content.
  - `countryCode` string: The country code for regional settings.
  - `deleteByFilterCriteria` boolean: This flag indicates whether to delete items based on filter conditions rather than specific identifiers.
  - `cookieName` string: The name of the cookie.
