# Create a Multi FileFeed import

`POST /v0/multi-file-feeds/{multi_file_feed_id}/imports`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.oneschema.co`
- URL: `https://api.oneschema.co/v0/multi-file-feeds/{multi_file_feed_id}/imports`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Creates a new Multi FileFeed import for the specified Multi FileFeed.
Defaults to the organization's production environment; to target a
different environment, provide exactly one of `environment_id`,
`environment` (by id or name), or `client_id`.

## Path parameters

- `multi_file_feed_id` integer, required

## Request body

- object
  - `environment_id` integer: The ID of the environment to import into
  - `environment` object: The environment to import into
    - `id` integer: The ID of the environment
    - `name` string: The name of the environment
  - `client_id` string: The client ID of the environment to import into

## Response `200`

Successful response

- MultiFileFeedImport
  - `id` integer: The unique identifier of the Multi FileFeed import
  - `multi_file_feed_id` integer: The ID of the associated Multi FileFeed
  - `environment` string: The name of the environment
  - `status` string: The current status of the Multi FileFeed import
  - `created_at` string, date-time: When the Multi FileFeed import was created

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `403`: Forbidden - environment selector not enabled for this organization
