# Tax document submitted

`POST tax_document.submitted` (webhook)

Fired when a payee completes a tax form. Carries the form type and validity plus whether the payee is now payable, and never any taxpayer identifying detail.

## Payload

- object: Identifies the payee an onboarding-readiness event is about. Exactly one of partner or partner_member identifies the payee itself; partner is always present for context.

  - `payable` boolean: Whether the payee can now be paid
  - `tax_document` WebhookTaxDocumentPayload: Tax document data included in tax_document webhook payloads. Deliberately narrow: it carries no taxpayer identification number or any fragment of one, no fingerprints, no addresses, no document id or file, and no IRS matching result.
