# PATCH assets

`PATCH /api/v1/assets/{id}`

## Request

## Path parameters

## Request body

  - `name` string, required: A new display name for the asset.

## Response `200`

  - `created_at` string, date-time, required: Timestamp for when the object was created on the One Codex platform, encoded as a [RFC 3339](https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3339.txt) timestamp.
  - `filename` string, required: The asset filename.
  - `name` string, required: A display name for the asset. Defaults to the filename if not provided at upload time.
  - `size` integer, nullable: The size of the uploaded file in bytes.
  - `status` 'importing' | 'available' | 'failed', required: The status of the asset. `importing` while the file is being copied to One Codex storage, `available` once the asset is ready to use, and `failed` if the import did not succeed.
  - `uploader` object, required: A reference to the user that uploaded the asset. Assets are shared with all members of the uploader's organization, and may only be modified or deleted by organization editors, admins, or owners.
