# Cancel Spot order

`DELETE /v1/spot/orders/{orderID}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ondoperps.xyz`
- URL: `https://api.ondoperps.xyz/v1/spot/orders/{orderID}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `ONDO-KEY-ID`

Cancel by exchange ID or client-prefixed ID. Reconcile status and fills after ambiguous results.

- `orderID` string, required

## Response `200`

Success. Inspect item-level outcomes for batch operations.

  - `success` boolean, required
  - `result` object, nullable: May be omitted on successful cancellation.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error; inspect error_code and error.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Slow down request frequency.
