# Delete Skill Version

`DELETE /skills/{skill_id}/versions/{version}`

## Request

Delete a skill version.

## Path parameters

- `skill_id` string, required
- `version` string, required: The skill version number.

## Response `200`

Success

- DeletedSkillVersionResource
  - `object` 'skill.version.deleted', required
  - `deleted` boolean, required
  - `id` string, required
  - `version` string, required: The deleted skill version.

## Other responses

- `400`: The requested version is invalid, or it is the default version and other versions remain.
- `404`: The skill or requested skill version was not found.
- `429`: The request was rejected because a rate limit was exceeded.
