# Hang up call

`POST /realtime/calls/{call_id}/hangup`

## Request

End an active Realtime API call, whether it was initiated over SIP or
WebRTC.

## Path parameters

- `call_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Call hangup initiated successfully.

- `404`: The session or call was not found or is unavailable for this operation.
