# Retrieve group user

`GET /organization/groups/{group_id}/users/{user_id}`

## Request

Retrieves a user in a group.

## Path parameters

- `group_id` string, required
- `user_id` string, required

## Response `200`

User retrieved from the group successfully.

- GroupMemberUser: Details about a user returned from an organization group membership lookup.
  - `id` string, required: Identifier for the user.
  - `name` string, required: Display name of the user.
  - `email` string, nullable, required: Email address of the user, or `null` for users without an email.
  - `picture` string, nullable, required: URL of the user's profile picture, if available.
  - `is_service_account` boolean, nullable, required: Whether the user is a service account.
  - `user_type` 'user' | 'tenant_user', required: The type of user.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request parameters are invalid or the requested operation cannot be performed.
- `403`: The caller does not have permission to perform this operation.
- `404`: The endpoint is unavailable or a requested group, user, or project was not found.
- `429`: The request was rejected because a rate limit was exceeded.
