# Remove group user

`DELETE /organization/groups/{group_id}/users/{user_id}`

Removes a user from a group.

## Path parameters

- `group_id` string, required
- `user_id` string, required

## Response `200`

User removed from the group successfully.

- GroupUserDeletedResource: Confirmation payload returned after removing a user from a group.
  - `object` 'group.user.deleted', required: Always `group.user.deleted`.
  - `deleted` boolean, required: Whether the group membership was removed.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request contains invalid parameters.
- `403`: The caller lacks the required permissions or is not using an admin API key.
- `404`: The group or user was not found in the organization, or this endpoint is unavailable.
- `409`: The request conflicts with the current state of the group.
- `429`: The request was rejected because a rate limit was exceeded.
