# Enable form

`POST /forms/{formID}/enable`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.omnisend.com/api`
- URL: `https://api.omnisend.com/api/forms/{formID}/enable`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://app.omnisend.com/oauth2/token` scopes: `forms.write`
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Enable a single form by ID. Enabling publishes the form and starts serving it to visitors according to its
targeting rules; the form moves to `enabled` status.
Enabling an already enabled form succeeds (idempotent).

A/B test version forms cannot be enabled directly, and a form that owns an active
A/B test cannot be enabled; manage the A/B setup instead.

**Scopes:**
`forms.write`

**Rate Limiting:**
This endpoint is rate limited to 40 requests per minute.

Form enabled

## Other responses

- `400`: Request contains invalid or missing fields
- `401`: Authentication is missing or invalid
- `402`: Feature requires a paid add-on
- `403`: Insufficient permissions for this operation
- `404`: Form not found
- `410`: API version has been retired
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Unexpected error occurred
