# Render email content

`POST /email-content/{id}/render`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.omnisend.com/api`
- URL: `https://api.omnisend.com/api/email-content/{id}/render`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://app.omnisend.com/oauth2/token` scopes: `email-templates.write`
  - API key in header `Authorization`

With this endpoint you can render email content to HTML by ID.
The content is rendered with an empty data context (no contact, no marketing activity).

**Scopes:**
`email-templates.write`

**Rate Limiting:**
This endpoint is rate limited to 40 requests per minute.

- `400`: Invalid content ID or missing brand ID
- `401`: Authentication is missing or invalid
- `403`: Insufficient permissions for this operation

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Unexpected error occurred
