# List topics

`GET /v1/models/{modelId}/topic`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://blobsrus.omniapp.co/api`
- URL: `https://blobsrus.omniapp.co/api/v1/models/{modelId}/topic`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Retrieve a list of topics in the model, including composite topics.

## Path parameters

- `modelId` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `branch_id` string, uuid

List of topics in the model

- object
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the operation succeeded
  - `topics` union[], required: List of topic objects
    - union

        - `base_view_name` string: Name of the topic's base view
        - `description` string: Description of the topic, shown in the topic picker
        - `group_label` string: Group label
        - `hidden` boolean: Whether the topic is hidden from the topic picker.
        - `is_composite` false: Whether the topic is a composite topic. Absent or `false` for a regular topic; only present and `true` on a [composite topic](/modeling/composite-topics).
        - `label` string: The display label for the topic
        - `name` string: The name of the topic
      - object
        - `description` string: Description of the topic, shown in the topic picker
        - `hidden` boolean: Whether the topic is hidden from the topic picker.
        - `is_composite` false: Whether the topic is a composite topic. Absent or `false` for a regular topic; only present and `true` on a [composite topic](/modeling/composite-topics).
        - `label` string: The display label for the topic
        - `name` string: The name of the topic
        - `import_models` object[]: Other models this composite topic imports topics from.
          - `model_ref` string: The ID of the model the topics are imported from.
          - `topics` object[]: The topics imported from the source model.
            - `topic` string: The name of the topic in the source model.
            - `alias` string: A local alias for the imported topic.
            - `ignored` boolean: Whether the imported topic is ignored.
        - `topics` string[]: The names of the two or more topics combined into this composite topic. See [topics](/modeling/composite-topics/parameters/topics).

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Permission denied
- `404`: Model not found
