# Search dashboards and apps

`GET /v1/content/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://blobsrus.omniapp.co/api`
- URL: `https://blobsrus.omniapp.co/api/v1/content/search`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Free-text search over the organization's dashboards and apps. Apps are included only if they are enabled for the organization.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `q` string, required: Free-text keywords matched against names, descriptions, query names, folder names, labels, and creator names.
- `userId` string, uuid

## Response `200`

Matching dashboards and apps

- object
  - `results` object[], required: Matching dashboards and apps, most relevant first.
    - `description` string, nullable: Description, if any.
    - `folderPath` string, nullable: Folder path, if any.
    - `identifier` string: The document identifier, usable with the documents endpoints. The schedules endpoints accept dashboard results only.
    - `name` string: Dashboard or app name.
    - `tileNames` string[]: Up to 5 query names from the document's workbook — the first few, not the ones that matched. For an app, the saved queries it can run.
    - `type` 'app' | 'dashboard': Whether the match opens as a dashboard or as an app. Apps are returned only when the organization has apps enabled. If this field is absent, treat the result as a dashboard.
    - `url` string: URL to open the match as the surface its type names (the published dashboard or app), with a redirect query param matching the type: - `?redirectToDashboard=true` for dashboards - `?redirectToApp=true` for apps Omitted on MCP requests when the the organization has the `disable-ai-mcp-links` feature flag enabled.
    - `verified` boolean: Whether it carries a verified label.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request Possible error messages: - `q is required` - `limit must be between 1 and 25`
- `401`: Authentication required
- `429`: Too Many Requests - Rate limit exceeded (60 requests/minute)
