# Delete custom color palette

`DELETE /v1/color-palettes/{colorPaletteId}`

## Request

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

  This endpoint requires **Organization Admin** permissions.

Delete a custom chart color palette. Charts using it revert to the organization's default palette.

## Path parameters

- `colorPaletteId` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Color palette deleted

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request. The `id` parameter is not a valid UUID.
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden. Requires Organization Admin permissions.
- `404`: Not Found. No color palette with that ID exists in the caller's organization.
- `405`: Method Not Allowed - Invalid HTTP method for this endpoint
- `409`: Conflict. The palette is the organization's default palette and cannot be deleted.
- `429`: Too Many Requests - Rate limit exceeded (60 requests/minute)
