# Read the quote and saved conversion state.

`GET /api/bases/{base_id}/conversions/{conversion_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://okfindex.com`
- URL: `https://okfindex.com/api/bases/{base_id}/conversions/{conversion_id}`
- Auth: none declared

Optional account document conversion. Check conversion_limits in get_base before upload. Raw HTTP accepts application/pdf, application/msword or application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document with URL-encoded X-Document-Name, up to 8 MiB. PDF permits 200 physical pages. DOC and DOCX contain continuous text, with pages=0 and no visual review; their quote charges once per file. The product publishes its rates in /api/pricing. JSON: filename and canonical file_base64; prefer raw HTTP for large files. The MCP transport permits 256 KiB per request. Upload only obtains a quote. Authorize with the exact quote and explicit user authority to spend credit. A repeated authorization reuses the account's right for this source hash. Processing continues without an open browser. Publication remains a separate action.
Returns: { conversion{id,base_id,filename,format,bytes,quote,status,document_id,error,progress,created_at,updated_at,expires_at,processing?} }
