- `400`: API number is not 14 digits (`{"error":{"code":"INVALID_PARAMETER",...}}`).
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Well not found
- `500`: Unexpected server error. Retry transient failures with bounded backoff and retain the request ID when contacting support.
