# Get historical Natural Gas futures data

`GET /v1/futures/natural-gas/historical`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.oilpriceapi.com`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Retrieve historical NYMEX Natural Gas futures data for the selected contract and date range.

## Query parameters

- `contract_month` string
- `from` string, date
- `to` string, date
- `interval` 'daily' | 'weekly' | 'monthly'

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid parameter - for example a date range wider than 730 days, or `interval=hourly`.
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `500`: Unexpected server error. Retry transient failures with bounded backoff and retain the request ID when contacting support.
