# Get the linked source status

`GET /v1/projects/{project_id}/source`

GitHub sources use the unchanged released projection by default. Set include_binding=true to request the exact GitHub source connection ID and generation. Managed sources always return their full source binding. The explicit projections are strict; binding fields are never inferred from a legacy response.
