# Create project

`POST /api/v1/create_project`

Create a new project of your own. Projects organize documents and are a sharing surface: members added to a project get their role on every document in it.

## Request body

  - `name` string, required: The new project's name, unique among your projects.

## Response `200`

Success.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid arguments.
- `401`: Missing, expired or revoked API key.
- `403`: The key's scope, restriction or role does not allow this.
- `404`: Not found, or outside the key's restriction.
- `409`: The document changed since expected_revision.
- `429`: A plan limit or daily quota was reached.
