# Get one watch

`GET /api/v1/watches/{watchId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://offnadir-delta.com`
- URL: `https://offnadir-delta.com/api/v1/watches/{watchId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Free unless include_passes is set. One watch end to end: target, current state, latest meaningful change, measurements with their recent series, standing-order questions, and — for an event watch — its stage (how precisely it is located), casualty/attribution fields, recent developments, imagery availability, and the full event thread (timeline + sources). The FULL measurement history of an area remains GET /api/v1/monitoring/{areaId} (export-gated); this returns the recent series.

## Response `200`

The watch with its state, and the event thread when the target is an event.

- `401`: Error response with a stable machine-readable code.

- `404`: No such watch on this key.
- `429`: Error response with a stable machine-readable code.
