## Request

Free. How current the data is (ingestion/enrichment frontier), the Daily World Brief status, and an Operational/Delayed/Degraded roll-up — pre-flight whether data is fresh before spending on a metered query.

  - `services` object: Every component behind the answers, probed every 10 minutes. `components[]` carries one entry per surface with its status (operational | degraded | down | stale | unknown) and `owner` — "delta" for surfaces we run (public REST, MCP, the signal projection, metering, key auth, Watchlist measurements, report serving) and "provider" for upstream dependencies (STAC catalogs, tiles, auth, news search, NASA credentials). "stale" and "unknown" mean the probe itself has not confirmed recently, NOT that the service is fine. live_news_retrieval is kept as a named shortcut to the one check that had this block to itself.

    - `components` object[]: One entry per monitored surface. Empty when the probe record could not be read — which is not the same as everything being healthy.
