# Create a standing order

## Request

Free to create. The app’s "Watch this area": saves a bounding box and checks it weekly for new events, notifying only when something crossed the reporting bar. The question, cadence, categories and thresholds are not accepted (the app does not offer them); passing them returns 400. Checks are deterministic: when new events cross the bar you receive a digest of them, and no model is run and nothing is charged, whether or not anything was found. The order count is plan-gated; a 403 says which limit you hit.

## Request body

- object
  - `bbox` number[], required: Area to watch, [minLon, minLat, maxLon, maxLat] (WGS84). Required, and at most 100,000 km² — a larger box returns 400 invalid_input (to follow a whole country, create a watch with target_type "site" and scale "country").
  - `name` string: Label for the order.
  - `notify_email` boolean: Email the result when it fires (default true). Results are readable from the list either way.
