# Buy a satellite pass

## Request

Costs 300 tokens. Opens VIEWING of VIIRS night lights and NISAR L-band for 24 hours on a plan that does not include them (tiles, NISAR conversion, change detection; the tiles themselves are still metered). It does not open monitoring or ship detection. Buying while a pass is active extends it by 24 hours, so a retried request lengthens the pass rather than losing tokens. Refused (400) when the plan already includes both sensors.
