# List notifications (the Notification Center)

`GET /api/v1/notifications`

## Request

  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Free. What changed across your watches, newest first — the same ledger as the bell in the app and the Watch update emails. Each notification names its watch, a one-line statement of the change, and (for an event or a site) the event it points at; a `related_event` notification carries the newly linked event and whether you already watch it. Values your plan does not open are withheld, not invented: `locked` is true and `lock_plan` names the cheapest plan that opens them. `unread_count` is your total unread, independent of the filters. Page with `next_cursor`.

## Response `200`

Notifications newest first, the unread total, and the next page cursor.
