# Send a test message to your notification channel

`POST /api/v1/notification-channel/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://offnadir-delta.com`
- URL: `https://offnadir-delta.com/api/v1/notification-channel/test`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Free. Posts one short confirmation message to the connected channel and reports whether it was accepted. If the provider says the channel is gone, the connection is stopped (`disabled: true`) and has to be connected again in the app. 404 when none is connected; 400 when the connection was already stopped.

## Response `200`

Whether the message was accepted.

- `401`: Error response with a stable machine-readable code.
- `403`: Error response with a stable machine-readable code.
- `404`: No channel is connected.
