# Terrain elevation

`GET /api/v1/elevation`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://offnadir-delta.com`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Free. Terrain height from the Copernicus DEM GLO-30 at a point (lat+lon) or over an area (bbox): min, max, mean, median, p10, p90 and relief (max-minus-min). Use POST for a polygon, whose statistics cover only the samples inside the ring. A SURFACE model (buildings and canopy included), ~30 m posting, heights orthometric on EGM2008. Land only: no coverage over open ocean is reported as absence, never as 0 m. The response carries the required attribution; cite it wherever a height is shown.
