# Preview the waste-disposal charge

`GET /v1/quotes/{id}/waste-disposal`

## Request

Reports whether the "smaltimento rifiuti" charge can be applied and
its net amount, computed from the company's `waste_disposal_*`
settings: `rate`% of the net of the goods lines (`base: articles`)
or of every line (`base: total`), rounded to cents.

`reason` (null when applicable): `disabled` — off or no rate;
`already_applied` — a line already carries the configured or the
default description; `nothing_to_charge` — the amount rounds to 0.

- WasteDisposalPreview: Whether the one-click "smaltimento rifiuti" charge can be applied to a worksheet or quote, and what it would add.
  - `object` string, required: always "waste_disposal_preview"
  - `applicable` boolean, required
  - `reason` 'disabled' | 'frozen' | 'fully_paid' | 'already_applied' | 'nothing_to_charge' | 'null', nullable, required: Null when applicable. `frozen` (POST answers `409 conflict`) and `fully_paid` only on worksheets.
  - `rate` number, required: Percentage, 1.2 = 1,2%.
  - `base` 'articles' | 'total', required
  - `description` string, required: The line description that would be added.
  - `amount` number, required: Net line amount (before VAT) the charge would add; 0 when not applicable.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, expired, or wrong-audience bearer token.
- `402`: The company has no active subscription, or its plan does not include API access. API access is included in the Business and Illimitato plans.
- `403`: The authenticated user lacks the required permission.
- `404`: Resource does not exist OR belongs to a different company. The two cases are intentionally indistinguishable.
- `500`: Unhandled server error. Detail is logged, not exposed.
