# Removes a policy

`DELETE /policies/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/v1` (relative, and the document’s source URL is not known)
- URL: `/v1/policies/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Removes a policy with a specific policy id.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Successfully deleted a policy for a given id

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `403`: Unauthorised request
- `404`: Requested id can not be found
- `500`: Failed to process the request due to an internal error
