# Add a file into a job

`PUT /jobs/{id}/files`

## Request

- Base URL: `/v1` (relative, and the document’s source URL is not known)
- URL: `/v1/jobs/{id}/files`
- Auth: API key in header `florence-token`

Add a file into a job, for each file added an alias name needs to be given. This name needs to link to the recipe

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- File
  - `alias_name` string: An alias name for the file
  - `url` string: The full S3 path including zone, and bucket

## Response `200`

The file was added to the import job

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid json message was sent to the API
- `404`: JobId does not match any import jobs
- `500`: Failed to process the request due to an internal error
