# Loan details from Book

`GET /v2/los-connect/book/{book_uuid}/loans`

This API retrieves the Encompass Loan GUID and related loan metadata using the Ocrolus <<glossary:Book>> UUID. It enables seamless mapping between an Ocrolus Book and its corresponding Encompass Loan, supporting accurate LOS integration, tracking, and synchronization between Ocrolus and Encompass systems.

Success

- object
  - `status` integer: A numerical code that indicates the status of the request.
  - `response` object: An object received from the server that potentially contains data.
    - `loan_details` object: Details of the loan associated with the request.
      - `loan_id` string: Unique identifier (UUID) of the Encompass loan GUID.
      - `loan_number` string: The Encompass loan number.
      - `client_instance_id` string, TEBE or BE: Identifier for the client instance.
      - `created_ts` string, date-time: Timestamp when the loan was created.
    - `book_details` object: Details of the Book associated with the loan.
      - `book_pk` integer: Primary key of the Book.
      - `name` string: Name of the Book.
      - `book_status` string: Current status of the Book.
      - `created_ts` string, date-time: Timestamp when the Book was created.
      - `book_uuid` string: A unique identifier of the Book.
    - `message` string: A message describing the result of the request.

## Other responses

- `404`: NOT FOUND
- `500`: INTERNAL SERVER ERROR
