# Cancel crawl

`POST /tasks/v1/crawl/{id}/cancel`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.oassis.dev`
- URL: `https://api.oassis.dev/tasks/v1/crawl/{id}/cancel`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE`

Stops pending work. With account credits, unused and failed reads are refunded; an in-flight page may finish and is billed normally. Settled x402 payments have no automatic on-chain refund. The result remains available to the owner.

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Job cancellation result.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid API key.
- `404`: Job not found or owned by another caller.
