# Delete an alert rule

`DELETE /v3/alerts/send/{rule_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.us.nylas.com`
- URL: `https://api.us.nylas.com/v3/alerts/send/{rule_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes the specified alert rule. Nylas stops checking it right away.

## Response `200`

Success: Object deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden. These endpoints need your application's API key, not a grant access token.
- `404`: Not found. Your application has no alert rule with this ID.
