# update

`PUT /api/v2/proposals/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.nusii.com`
- URL: `https://app.nusii.com/api/v2/proposals/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP bearer

Updates the proposal. A status change is refused (422 status_not_writable): a proposal becomes pending when you send it (PUT /api/v2/proposals/{id}/send_proposal) and accepted or rejected when your client answers on the proposal page. The current status can be sent back unchanged. A proposal a client signed, or an accepted one, is locked (422 proposal_locked).

- `422`: returns proposal locked error
