# Run saved pipeline

`POST /api/v1/pipelines/{id}/run`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://numonic.ai`
- URL: `https://numonic.ai/api/v1/pipelines/{id}/run`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Execute a previously saved pipeline by ID. Pass runtime parameters to customize the execution. Use `dry_run: true` to preview what would happen without applying changes.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Pipeline hash (40-char hex SHA-1)

## Request body

- RunPipelineRequest
  - `dry_run` boolean: Preview results without applying changes
  - `timeout_ms` integer
  - `vars` object: Runtime variables to pass to pipeline stages

## Response `200`

Pipeline execution started

- SuccessMessage
  - `message` string, required: Human-readable success message

## Other responses

- `404`: Pipeline not found
