# List collections tree

`GET /api/v1/collections`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://numonic.ai`
- URL: `https://numonic.ai/api/v1/collections`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Retrieve the collection hierarchy for the current tenant. Supports depth limiting and pagination.

## Query parameters

- `parentPath` string
- `depth` number
- `includeAssetCounts` string
- `limit` number
- `offset` number, nullable

## Headers

- `X-Tenant-ID` string, uuid: Target tenant UUID. Required when API key has access to multiple tenants.

Collection tree retrieved successfully

    - `collection_h` string, required: SHA-1 hash identifying this collection
    - `collection_path` string, required: Dot-separated path in collection hierarchy
    - `collection_name` string, required: Name of this collection (last path segment)
    - `display_name` string, nullable, required
    - `description` string, nullable, required
    - `icon` string, nullable, required
    - `color` string, nullable, required
    - `asset_count` integer, required: Number of assets in this collection
    - `depth` integer, required: Depth in the collection tree (0 = root)
    - `parent_collection_h` string, nullable, required
    - `updated_at` string, nullable, required: ISO 8601 timestamp of the most recent activity on this collection: creation, a rename/description/icon/colour edit, a move, or an asset being added, removed or reordered (#2067)
