# Get asset details

`GET /api/v1/assets/{assetH}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://numonic.ai`

- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Retrieve full details for a specific asset including metadata.

## Path parameters

- `assetH` string, required: Asset hash (40-char hex SHA-1)

Asset details retrieved

  - `asset_h` string, required: Content-addressed SHA-1 hash identifying this asset
  - `title` string, nullable, required: Human-friendly title (auto-generated or user-set)
  - `filename` string, nullable, required: Original filename at upload time
  - `mime_type` string, nullable, required: MIME type of the stored file
  - `status` 'PendingUpload' | 'PendingProcessing' | 'Active' | 'Trashed' | 'Archived', nullable, required: Current asset lifecycle status
  - `created_at` string, nullable, required: ISO 8601 creation timestamp
  - `tags` string[], required: User-assigned tags for categorization
  - `storage` object, required: Storage metadata
    - `size_bytes` number, nullable, required: File size in bytes
  - `visual_details` object: Image/video dimensions in pixels
    - `width` number, nullable, required
    - `height` number, nullable, required
  - `collections` object[], required: Collections this asset belongs to
    - `collection_h` string, required
    - `name` string, nullable, required
  - `download_url` string, nullable: Pre-signed download URL (only present when include_download_url=true)
